So far, I haven't had a lot of problems creating the pages. My main problem had to do with getting my staff web page started. OIT and DCC have combined and when they went to combine their web page, www.uaf.edu/dcc, they set everything to default to the OIT's main page. Whether I was trying to look at specific documents or links, I was always directed to this other main page. Very bad planning on their part. Finally with the help of Alex at the help desk, I was able to get the proper information. Whew!
I found the web page coding easier than expected. On the other hand, getting my "free" web space was a lot more difficult than expected! But that gave me some insight as to how NOT to set up a web site.
